KREAN, S.COOP. held its 2026 Ordinary General Assembly on Friday 29 May at the KURSAAL conference centre in Donostia-San Sebastián, attended by over 200 people, including members and guests.
The assembly approved the accounts and management report for the 2025 financial year, which the governing bodies of the MONDRAGON Group’s engineering and architecture firm described as excellent in financial terms and successful in terms of strategic market positioning.
Luis Anduaga, President of KREAN, chaired the meeting alongside members of the Cooperative’s Governing Board, and focused his address on presenting the successful results of the 2025 financial year, which were subsequently approved, as well as other items proposed by the Cooperative’s Governing Board that were presented and voted on, including the renewal of the Supervisory Committee. In terms of organisational matters, the results of the study on KREAN’s organisational culture and the involvement of the people who make up the cooperative group were viewed very positively.
Jon Berbel, Managing Director of KREAN, analysed the progress and proposed revision of the key guidelines of the 2025/2028 strategic plan at its halfway point, beginning his presentation with a summary of previous strategic periods, before focusing on the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the new plan and the level of compliance, as reflected in the 2026 financial year as of April. In line with recent years, Jon Berbel concluded his address by expressing his satisfaction with the collective success achieved in meeting the proposed objectives and with the commitment shown by the people who make up KREAN.
Marijo Pagaldai, Managing Director of the Engineering and Services Division and Vice-President of MONDRAGON, began her address by outlining the results achieved in 2025 by the cooperatives comprising the Division, which she described as excellent overall, before extending the information to the Corporation as a whole, whose results she likewise described as very positive. In line with the provisions of MONDRAGON’s 2025/2028 socio-business policy, she concluded her address with a reflection on the relevance of cooperative values in a global environment undergoing profound transformation.
This year’s awards ceremony included the annual “TEK-Viernes de Vanguardia” prize for the best contribution and a tribute to the 14 KREAN colleagues who have been with the company for 25 years.
The Assembly concluded with an emotional and proud commemoration of the three anniversaries being marked in 2026: 35 years since the founding of KREAN, 40 years since the founding of DIARA, and 25 years since the opening of KREAN’s offices in Bilbao and Donostia-San Sebastián.
