KREAN is developing the new LASCARAY LEA cosmetics plant in Vitoria-Gasteiz

KREAN is participating as a strategic partner in the project, taking on the comprehensive engineering, supervision and management of the construction work for the new facilities. This is a technically highly complex commission of great industrial significance, which reinforces KREAN’s position as a leader in advanced and sustainable industrial projects.

Following the fire on 20 June last year that destroyed the historic Lascaray-LEA premises in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the company is now entering a new phase characterised by reconstruction, innovation and industrial growth. The new cosmetics production plant that the firm will build in the Júndiz industrial estate will mark a decisive step in the revival of one of the Basque Country’s most iconic companies.

The future plant has been designed to be a modern, automated and energy-efficient facility, in line with the latest industrial and environmental standards. Lascaray-LEA has already announced that the new complex will prioritise sustainability, automation and maximum safety, particularly in terms of fire protection.

KREAN is approaching the project with a holistic vision that combines technical expertise, multidisciplinary coordination and experience in complex industrial environments. The aim is to support Lascaray-LEA in bringing to fruition a plant equipped to meet the production challenges of the future, optimising processes, operational efficiency and sustainability.

The project in Júndiz also represents a significant boost for Álava’s industrial sector and consolidates KREAN’s role in the development of strategic infrastructure linked to the region’s industrial and technological transformation.
