On Friday 6 June last, KREAN, S. Coop. held its 2025 Ordinary Annual Meeting in the Theatre of the University of Navarra Museum in Pamplona, an event attended by more than 200 people, including members and guests.
The assembly approved the accounts and the management report for the 2024 financial year, described by the governing bodies of the MONDRAGON group's engineering and architecture firm as brilliant in terms of financial results and highly satisfactory in terms of strategic positioning in the market.
Luis Anduaga, KREAN's Chairman, led the conference, accompanied by the members of the Co-operative's Governing Council, and focused his speech on the presentation of the successful results for the 2024 financial year, which were subsequently approved, as well as other points that were presented and voted on at the proposal of the Co-operative's Governing Council, including the partial renewal of the Governing Council.
Jon Berbel, Managing Director of KREAN, presented the main lines of the new strategic plan 2025/2028, beginning his presentation with a summary of the two previous strategic periods, to then focus on the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the new plan, also reflecting the progress of the 2025 financial year as of April. Berbel closed his speech by expressing his satisfaction at the collective success of achieving the objectives proposed in the different plans and at the commitment shown by all the people who make up KREAN.
The speech by Marijo Pagaldai, Vice-President of MONDRAGON's Engineering and Services Division, focused on the results obtained in 2024 by the co-operatives that make up the division, which she described as excellent, and then extended the information to the corporation as a whole in 2024, whose results she also described as very positive. In line with MONDRAGON's socio-business policy 2025/2028, he closed his speech with a call for reflection on the future of KREAN and the involvement of its collective in its co-operative development.
As has become customary in recent years, the assembly also included a space for awards. On the one hand, the now classic ‘TEK-Viernes de Vanguardia’ award was presented for the best contribution in the field of technical training and innovation, and on the other hand, and to close the assembly, a well-deserved recognition was given to the seven colleagues who during the 2024 financial year celebrated 25 years working in what is now KREAN.
