Last Saturday, 28 February, the Basque Country final of the First Lego League was held, with the national final scheduled for 11 April in Burgos. This year, for the first time, the event took place simultaneously at two venues: the Iturripe sports centre in Arrasate and the As Fabrik campus of Mondragon University in Bilbao. Between the two locations, almost 500 young people (divided into 67 teams), along with hundreds of volunteers and family members who filled the stands, enjoyed an unforgettable morning that combined teamwork with robotics. Excitement, music (with the collaboration of DJ Xaibor and the brass band) and mutual support marked this final, held under the sustainability commitment of the Erronka Garbia label.

Joxé Oleaga, Architect and Director of the Arrasate Office, awarded the KREAN Prize for Excellence in Engineering to the BERMIBOT POTOLO team from Sagrado Corazón Ikastetxea in Bermeo (Bizkaia).
