The new logistics warehouse, with 9,704 square meters and 31 loading docks, is pioneering thanks to its design focused on operational efficiency, technological integration, and high environmental standards, tailored to the needs of next-generation logistics operators.
This project adds to others developed by PK Blue Industrial & Logistics, such as the refurbishment of the former Cegasa and Daewoo industrial facilities. Altogether, this represents 300,000 m² of land and 85,000 m² of buildings for logistics and industry developed by this industrial platform in the Basque Country.
PK Blue Industrial & Logistics has delivered a new state-of-the-art logistics platform to XPO Logistics, located in the Júndiz industrial park in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The project, promoted under a turnkey model, strengthens the logistics multinational’s presence in the Basque Country and responds to the growing needs for efficiency, automation and sustainability in the sector.
The new warehouse has approximately 9,704 square meters of surface area and 31 loading docks, incorporating advanced technological solutions and a design specifically aimed at optimizing logistics operations and flexibility of use. The asset has been conceived to meet the highest environmental and energy standards, in line with current demands of the European logistics market.
The project is part of the comprehensive transformation being driven by PK Blue Industrial & Logistics in Júndiz and adds to the redevelopment of the former Daewoo industrial land, as well as the construction in the same area of the largest cold storage facility for Eroski in northern Spain. On the former Daewoo site, the platform has already refurbished 25,000 square meters, currently occupied by the logistics multinational GXO for the operations of one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers, and has also brought to market 55,000 square meters for Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) activities. The developments in Júndiz are complemented by other landmark interventions around the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, such as the redevelopment of the former Cegasa site.
