MONDRAGON Hotela, recovering the essence to change everything.

KREAN carries out the design, site management and coordination of trades for the refurbishment of MONDRAGON HOTELA in Arrasate-Mondragón.

MONDRAGON HOTELA, located in a building dating from the early 1900s which housed the former offices of the Unión Cerrajera and converted into a hotel at the end of the last century, has reopened its doors after a refurbishment of more than 8 months.

The original building, of simple shapes and built with masonry walls and an interior structure of reinforced concrete, has been respected and recovered, maintaining its character and personality.

MONDRAGON HOTELA has entrusted KREAN with this renovation project, respecting the intrinsic values of the original building, modernising its facilities to make them more sustainable and reorganising the spaces.

The complex has 47 rooms on the three upper floors and a restaurant on the lower floor. The ONDARE restaurant is aimed not only at hotel users, but is also open to the local public. As a sign of its openness, it is worth highlighting the grandstand that has been built in order to bring the public closer to the different events that are programmed on its large outdoor terrace.

The finishes of the materials, the colours, the acoustics, the different lighting... have all been worked on to create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort to enjoy unique experiences.

The building has efficient installations for generating hot water and air conditioning, low-consumption lighting and a centralised control system that governs the whole.

It should be pointed out that this project has integrated the bulk of MONDRAGON HOSPITALITY's services with the involvement of the firms Erreka, Enea, Fagor Electrónica, Onnera, Gerodan and Ondoan.
