KREAN improves its sustainability rating and ranks in the top 9% of companies assessed by EcoVadis

Sustainability continues to be a strategic priority for KREAN, as confirmed by the recent assessment by EcoVadis, one of the most internationally recognised rating systems. In its 2025 edition, KREAN has obtained the Silver medal, improving its score to 74 points out of 100, which places us in the 91st percentile: that is, among the 9% of companies with the best global performance in sustainability.

Since 2017, KREAN has voluntarily participated in this assessment in order to measure its progress, identify areas for improvement and strengthen the trust of its customers and stakeholders. The EcoVadis methodology is based on international standards such as the United Nations Global Compact, ISO 26000 or the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, and analyses more than 100,000 companies worldwide.

The score obtained this year represents an improvement compared to 2024, both in absolute and relative terms, with progress in the four areas analysed:

- Environment
- Labour practices and human rights
- Business ethics
- Sustainable procurement

"This recognition reinforces a solid track record of collective work, where sustainability is not a slogan, but a way of doing things. Evaluating ourselves with transparency helps us to demonstrate our commitment and to continue improving", emphasises Ana Belén de Isla, Director of Transformation and Sustainability of the KREAN Group.

In a context of increasing regulatory, business and social demands, having external evaluations such as EcoVadis allows us to demonstrate with data that our policies and projects are aligned with the values of sustainability, quality and responsibility.
