KREAN has been awarded the public tender promoted by the Irún City Council to draft the study of alternatives and the basic design for the multi-purpose pavilion next to Ficoba in Irún, Gipuzkoa.

The new multi-purpose pavilion in Irún, called Irungo Areto Moldakorra (IAM), will have a capacity of between 8,300 and 12,500 spectators and is designed to meet three needs in the city: those of the Ficoba exhibition centre, sporting needs, led by the participation of C.D. Bidasoa in official handball competitions, and cultural needs. The project includes the development of the surrounding area, as well as an underground car park to serve the new building. Among other issues, the drafting of the basic project should help to ‘accurately determine’ the final cost of the facility.
