IF AWARD 2024 to DIARADESIGN
DIARADESIGN, the design firm of the KREAN Group for product and service, wins the acknowledged IF DESIGN AWARD 2024 for the HANGZHOU AIRPORT underground train design project.
Inaugurated at the Asian Olympic Games, it was presented as a streamlined, quiet, comfortable, safe, smart and efficient mobility solution, incorporating biotechnological filters to eliminate any viruses in the air and OLED smart windows to broadcast relevant information to passengers in real time.
Its design, inspired by the nature surrounding the city of Hangzhou and the essence of its airport architecture, combines clean, smooth and rounded shapes, resulting in a remarkable frontal design reminiscent of the flight of a bird. All these features give shape to a unique urban metro design with a strong personality that will be etched in the memory.
