Project Management and BREEAM Certification of the reform and renovation of the building located on the Plaza Circular no.3 plot in Bilbao with the aim of converting it into a Hostel type hotel establishment.
The Hostel has a cafeteria and various communal areas on the semi-basement floor. On the ground floor there are two entrances, one from Plaza Circular and the other from Calle Ledesma leading to the communications hub, with two lifts and two staircases. It has 54 rooms distributed from the first to the fifth floor and the sixth floor has a common area for guests.
The project did not include the VORWERK commercial premises (formerly the La Granja cafeteria), which continued to operate throughout the works. The activity of the commercial premises, which occupied 75% of the ground floor and 20% of the semi-basement floor, coexisted throughout the renovation and refurbishment of the building.
